  Thankful is an understatement for the treatment I received at Stadia Sports and with Dr. Carlson specifically. In September of 2013, I went in for shoulder pain and mentioned some difficultly I had breathing while running. Dr. Carlson was persistent in his questions regarding what was going on and thought it would be a good idea to work with my primary care physician to set up a stress test. Thanks to Dr. Carlson, in October of 2013 I underwent successful open heart surgery for a blocked LAD. Without his persistence in treating my whole body, not just my shoulder I might have had a much different outcome! I’m happy to say I’m back to running again! Thanks so much Stadia Sports!

  Dr. Carlson is extremely personable; thoroughly explaining what you are seeing during and ultrasound or reviewing an MRII. The staff is equally professional and friendly working to restore you to health as a team effort.

  We've been to a number of orthopedic and sports doctors over the years, haven't found any better than Dr Carlson and his team at Stadia Sports. Diagnostic capabilities are top notch, he's very thorough, explains things well, and gets great results.

  Detlef Maltas is the best PT I have ever had. He helped me throughout the entire process with my knee, including setbacks. Dr. Carlson is great and correctly diagnosed my knee issues, something no other doctor has managed to do. The entire staff is patient, kind, and willing to go the extra mile for their patients!

  I had a great experience at Stadia Sports Medicine. They were with me through the entire process I went through with my knee. I fell playing volleyball and could barely walk the next day. Dr. Carlson and Gabrielle fit me into their schedules the same day I called by giving up their own lunch break to help me! They were so kind as they walked me through my next steps while keeping me calm the entire time! It ended up being an ACL tear and I required surgery. They even recommended a surgeon they thought would be a good fit for me. They were so helpful at every turn! I knew I had to go back for my post-surgery physical therapy. Detlef is an AMAZING physical therapist. He found a way to push me to continue making process while still making sure I was comfortable with all the steps I was taking. I never once questioned whether or not I would be able to accomplish what I wanted. He talked me through the pain in my knee and modified exercises to make sure they worked for my therapy program. I was back to my old self in no time. I'm now stronger than ever and back to my old workout and volleyball routine. I felt that he genuinely cared about my progress and was almost as excited about my successes as I was. The entire staff there is out of this world. I'd recommend them to anyone struggling with sports injuries and have already informed all of my friends about my great experiences there. I hope I never have any sports injuries EVER again, but if I do, I know exactly where I will be headed to get help, STADIA SPORTS MEDICINE! Thanks again to the entire team there!
